I founded it to be perfect! Host was very helpful and responsive. Place was super clean and tidy and it’s very modern and well designed. You have basically everything you need to survive and all equipment is new and modern, even washing machine and dish washer. There’s a bus stop very close too. I could recommend for solo travelers or couples. The bad thing is there’s no markets on a foot distance, so come prepared and bring your own food. 🙂

The room is very modern, beautifully decorated, and the view cannot be beat. The appliances, dishes, etc are all very new and in great condition. We were there in winter and there were no open restaurants, so we had to cook which was not an issue given everything that was supplied. We were very comfortable and happy with our stay here.

Fantastic accommodation set within a truly magnificent location - highly recommend staying here for a truly realistic off-grid escape on the planet. A must stay tick box location on planet earth. We had a great experience here in the Carlbua Cabin! Marta was responsive and quite helpful. The cozy cabin is beautifully detailed and is in a great location. We really liked the car rental service they provide... just arrange the dates you want one and not only is it delivered to you at the cabin, they pick it back up there too! Though we had clouds during our stay this would be a fantastic cabin to watch for Northern Lights. We would be very happy to return.

We stayed only one night, leaving very early in the morning. But we soent a good evening there. The apartment is clean with all facilities you may need: different coffee machines (coffee capsules pr other type already there), tea, dishwasher, washing machine, tv. Really liked the bathroom where showers products and body lotion were provided. I loved the pillows, best kind i found in Lofoten (I stayed in 5 accomodations). Slept well even though there was a storm outside. We watched a movie on Netflix (included). The heating system worked well.

Insane! The view is stunning and the Rorbuer has everything you need: stove, fridge, oven, coffee maker and even a smart TV. Which you might not need cause looking out of the window is a TV Show itself. 😍

The Manor House Sakrisoy Gjestegard is in our opinion the best place to stay in the lower Lofoten area. Wonderful views of Reine, the whole Mountain range and Hamnoy. We had a great conversation with Jack the Manager, who gave us also some valuable tips on the best places to spot the northern lights. If you want to spoil yourself book the Suite Olstind Mountain. That's truly one of a kind accommodation. Thanks again Jack, we hope to meet you on the road one day!
